Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BPSR Tools, including the desktop application, website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BPSR Tools is a community-built DPS (Damage Per Second) meter and companion tool for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. The Service includes:

• A desktop application that captures and analyzes game network data
• Automatic cloud sync of encounter data, player profiles, settings, and party information
• Real-time raid spectating and boss tracking features
• Leaderboards and player performance rankings
• Party finding and lobby features
• A module optimizer for in-game equipment
• An optional local translation overlay

By using the desktop application, your game data is automatically synced to our cloud servers as part of normal operation. 3. Not a Company

BPSR Tools is a community project and is not operated by a registered business or incorporated entity. The Service is provided by independent developers on an informal, best-effort basis. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the maintainers of BPSR Tools.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with these terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, shame, or target other players
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or exploit the Service or its infrastructure
• Use data obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use the Service in any way that violates the game's terms of service or any applicable law

5. No Game Interaction

BPSR Tools is a passive, read-only tool. It observes game network data but does not send packets to the game, modify game files, inject code, or manipulate game data in any way. The application has no ability to interact with or alter the game client or server.

6. Purchases and Payments

All core features of the Service, including the DPS meter, leaderboards, spectating, boss tracking, party finding, and all data access, are free and will remain free forever.

We may offer optional, cosmetic, and personalization items for purchase. These purchases are entirely optional and do not affect core functionality or access to data. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or change the pricing of optional items at any time.

7. Advertisements

The Service may display advertisements in the future. If advertisements are introduced, they will not interfere with core functionality. We will not sell or share your personal data with advertisers. Any advertising will be clearly distinguishable from Service content.

8. Administrator Privileges

The desktop application requires administrator privileges on Windows to perform network packet capture via Npcap. By granting these privileges, you acknowledge that you understand why they are required and accept responsibility for running the application with elevated access. The application only uses these privileges for game network data capture.

9. User Data and Content

By using the Service, game data such as encounter results, player profiles, and combat statistics are automatically transmitted to our servers. By using the Service, you grant BPSR Tools a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute this data as part of the Service (e.g., on leaderboards, in spectate views, or for statistical analysis).

10. Accounts and Bans

The Service uses token-based authentication tied to your in-game identity. We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in disruptive behavior. Bans may be temporary or permanent at our discretion.

11. Third-Party Game

BPSR Tools is an unofficial, third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers or publishers of Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. Use of the Service is at your own risk with respect to the game's terms of service. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the game publisher's policies regarding third-party tools.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data provided through the Service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the maintainers of BPSR Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, any consequences from game account actions taken by the game publisher.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Termination

We may discontinue or modify the Service at any time without notice. We may also restrict or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though locally stored data remains on your device.
